Up for sale is an excellent condition Volvo Penta SP-A 290 285 280 275 Countershaft 832555 / 854612 Volvo Penta Sp-A lower Unit. This is from a 1987, SP-A and will fit  275 280 285 290 Sp-A  lowers V8 V6 and 4 Cylinder all gear Ratios. New if you can find them are over $700, ready to go bearing are turn freely and are included but sound a bit like a tambourine to me. Bolt it on get back on the water!
