Up  for sale is a beautiful condition Volvo Penta Rebuilt Resealed 280 outdrive Sterndrive  1.61  : 1 Gear Ratio for V8 and larger diesels , Long 5 1/4 center bolt prop shaft ,   with all 290 upgrades ,  Gear sets , bearings , lower and upper housing all 290 /Sp-A   , New Volvo Penta Seals,  New forged U-joints ,26 fine Spline yoke (10 spline available on request) , 2 Bolt helmet style , This has been totally gone  thru  every bearing and gear inspected , all seals replaced , Gear sets Flawless, bearings Flawless,  Pressure tested , vacuum tested Ready to go , This  has been upgrade with all 290 Upper and Lower Gear units and the intermediate setup to replace AQ270 275 280 and 285. Mechanically perfect , Correct Line cutter / thrust wash and prop cone spinner included, No pitting , no salt water use or damage .  Full 1 year Warranty  ....Bolt it on  and get back on  the water!
