Up for sale is a  Volvo Penta 280 290 DP-C Dp-A Dp-B  Dp Lower gear housing 854051 This is in perfect mechanical condition. it obviously had quite a bit of external pitting , It was sanded and painted with zinc chromate primer and Volvo Penta Aquamatic white. If you have a good gear set in a  cracked housing this is you answer, the exhaust flapper is good ,  This unit will work and perform , it just doesn't pass the cosmetic criteria for the rebuild units we build and sell .... build Bolt it on get back on the water!
