Up for sale is is an exceptionally Clean Volvo Penta 2.5L Aq171C Short Block rotating assembly , Forged Rear Thrust Crankshaft  Valve Relief Pistons B230 aq 171 C, Excellent condition large 63mm main journals P/N 3514121 2.5 liter Aq171 C   B230 block .  This is the holy grail of  Volvo Red Blocks  Crankshafts, they are turbocharging, supercharging, fuel injecting the motors using this crankshaft to produce over 600 horse power and staying together. Most of these cranks get sold to hot rod volvo racing guys if you want to build a sleeper Volvo this is where you have to begin. This short block is from a Freshwater Trailered Princess , Low Low Hours that slipped a Timing Belt and bent Valves ( Yes I Have the 16 Valve Head For sale as well ) Cylinder walls are excellent with no top ridge , no scores no pitting .  This  can run with either the 16 Valve DOHC or the 8 Valve OHC , No Water in the Oil , No metal in the oil , Turns by hand Like a Swiss watch Ready to bolt on you components and Go .
